Embracing Imperfection: The Beauty of Flaws
What a whirlwind of adrenaline-fueled excitement this past weekend turned out to be! With the support of incredible friends and partners, I dove headfirst into the invitational bracket race, and boy, was it a ride to remember.
Despite encountering a hiccup when the motor decided to call it quits during the semi-
finals, I found myself grinning ear to ear. Why? Because the camaraderie, the laughter, and the sheer joy of being on the track with a group of amazing individuals like Pat Estevez, Richard Wilson Jr., Mike Dent, Nick Schroeder, Jared Brunner, Eric Gold, Mauro "Mvracing" Vitale, Lewis Jones, Michael Sullivan, Adriana Sullivan, and Hannah Franck made every moment worthwhile.
A massive shout-out is due to Dorsey and Timmy "RuffHouse" Ruffin for their unparalleled southern hospitality, making us feel like family every time we visit. And let's not forget about the track itself—Outer Banks Speedway delivered an impeccable surface that had our vehicles practically dancing on the asphalt!
To those who missed out because they were wary of a little rain, well, let's just say the weather forecast wasn't the most accurate. Outer Banks Speedway stood as a beacon of racing glory on the East Coast, with not a drop of rain in sight. (Note to self: always trust the track's predictions over the weather app!)
